Announcing 2025 Grand Marshall - Denise Corliss with Canines Rennes and Finn

Denise Corliss is a firefighter and canine handler with the Cy-Fair Fire Department, where she has proudly served as a volunteer for more than 25 years. She leads the Cy-Fair Search Team and is a FEMA Canine Search Specialist with Texas A&M Task Force 1, deploying alongside her FEMA-certified Golden Retrievers, Rennes (Live-Find) and Finn (Human Remains Detection).

Denise has responded to some of the nation’s most impactful disasters, including the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks, hurricanes Katrina, Ike, and Harvey, the Hawaii wildfires, and the recent July 4th Kerrville floods. She also serves as a FEMA Canine Evaluator, TEEX Instructor, and Board Member of the Texas Task Force Foundation.

She continues to serve alongside her fellow first
responders, supporting communities across Texas and our nation.
